Celebs shocked over Saif Ali Khan's stabbing
A string of Indian film personalities, such as Jr NTR, Chiranjeevi, Pooja Bhatt and Kunal Kohli, have expressed shock after learning that Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan was injured during an attempted burglary at his residence, sustaining six stab wounds. Jr NTR, who worked with Saif in the film Devara: Part 1 took to X and shared a picture with the Nawab.
He captioned the image, “Shocked and saddened to hear about the attack on Saif sir. Wishing and praying for his speedy recovery and good health.”
“Shocking and scary incident. Praying for Saif’s speedy recovery. #SaifAliKhan,” wrote filmmaker Kunal Kohli on X. Filmmaker Pooja Bhatt talked about law and order. “Law & order. We have laws…what about order?” Bollywood actor Neil Nitin Mukesh wished Saif ‘get well soon’. He wrote, “My prayers are with Saif sir and the entire family. This is very sad indeed! May your bravery and love for your family be rewarded with healing, strength, and peace. Get well soon #SaifAliKhan”.
Emphasising on the need to upgrade our security system, Mamta Kulkarni was quoted saying, “I was really saddened to learn about Saif’s condition. I am really concerned regarding the security in the city. Why would they take the lives of their employers so lightly? Are they not being paid properly? I would like it if we all treat our security people with love, so that they give importance to the lives of their employers. This incident is not only limited to Saif, but such cases are taking place in various places like Gujarat Mumbai and Rajkot. The security people fall asleep and the robbers manage to enter the building. So, we need to tighten our security. I am deeply concerned about Saif and will pray to the Almighty that he regains his health quickly.”
House help took Saif to hospital
Saif Ali Khan was taken to the Lilavati Hospital by a member of his domestic staff contrary to the reports stating that his elder son Ibrahim took him there. Even Taimur wasn’t seen with the actor while on his way to the hospital, as stated by one of the doctors. Ibrahim stays in a different building away from Saif’s house. A source mentioned, “Neither Ibrahim nor Taimur. House help took the actor to hospital in an
auto-rickshaw”.
Raveena for stronger measures in Bandra
The attack on Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan has once again raised serious questions about safety in Mumbai. Hours after the news about Saif’s surfaced online, actress Raveena Tandon through an Instagram post wished Saif a speedy recovery and voiced concerns about the increased crimes in Bandra locality. “Targeting celebrities and soft targets in what used to be a safe residential area has become rampant, with Bandra losing out to unruly elements. Accident scams, hawker mafia, encroachers, land grabbers and criminal elements racing on bikes phone and chain grabbing. Need stronger measures. Wishing you a speedy recovery,” she posted.
Meanwhile, Bollywood actor Pulkit Samrat also took to social media, calling the attack ‘shocking’.
