Chanderi shopping for wifey

Sushant Singh will be seen making his digital debut with ZEE5’s upcoming original series ‘Rangbaaz Phirse’. He will be seen essaying the role of Jairam Godara, the right hand of Amarpal Singh, a feared gangster essayed by Jimmy Shergill. The actor has been shooting in Chanderi which is four hours away from Bhopal. While the series is based in Rajasthan, the team has been on the lookout for similar landscapes and untapped locations where they can re-create the look and feel of Rajasthan.

The team has been on a hectic schedule and they have been clocking in hours to ensure they finish the required shots in time. However, since they were in Chanderi, Sushant made a rushed trip to the local market to buy a few sarees for his wife post pack-up. Chanderi is known to weave some of the best-known handloom clusters in India, in both cotton and silk. The actor was quite thrilled with his expedition and that he also got a chance to experience the local flavour of the city. Rangbaaz Phirse is all set to premiere on December 20, exclusively on ZEE5.
