STRAP: Nandita Puri to launch ‘Puri Baatein’ on the 70th birth anniversary of Om Puri

Om Puri Foundation, which was started in 2017 by Om Puri’s wife Nandita Puri and son Ishaan Puri, has decided to celebrate the late actor’s 70th birthday on October 18, by launching a YouTube channel named ‘Puri Baatein’. The channel will talk about the late actor, his films and beyond. In fact, Ishaan Puri will launch his four-minute film on Om Puri on the same channel. Said Nandita, “We will celebrate with year-long programmes about one of the greatest actors of our times.”

She added, “Apart from a retrospective in India, Cannes and London, the foundation will also be holding a festival in Punjab. There will be several contests with various organisations. The highlight will be Litmus – a festival of literature, theatre and music – in his memory. We also look forward to releasing a few film… Hoping you will all join in and keep his legacy alive.”
