Khatija Iqbal to star in 'The Great Weddings of Munnes'

Khatija Iqbal, who hails from the Caribbean Islands, made quite a buzz with her performance in web show Ragini MMS. The actress will soon be seen playing a pivotal role in an upcoming show alongside Abhishek Banerjee and Barkha Singh. Titled The Great Weddings of Munnes, the show has been produced and created by Raaj Shaandilyaa. It will be released on Voot soon.

Khatija shares, “I am very fortunate to work with all the senior actors and star opposite Abhishek Banerjee. I think he is fabulous and an extremely talented person. I learnt so many things, and, mind you, doing comedy roles isn’t easy because I just couldn’t stop laughing at all. I really had a great time shooting and the audience will see me in a very different role. It was indeed a great experience and I am very excited.”
