Disney’s tribute to Chadwick Boseman
On August 28 the world lost a hero as Chadwick Boseman left us for the heavens. Now, to mark the late actor’s 44th Birthday, Disney Plus updated the Marvel logo introduction to Black Panther in honour of Chadwick. The actor, who played T’Challa/Black Panther, died following a battle with colon cancer. Walt Disney executive Bob Iger announced that a special tribute to Boseman would be featured as a part of Black Panther on Disney Plus. He wrote, “To all fans of #BlackPanther: watch the film on #DisneyPlus late tonight, for a special tribute to someone who was and will always be near and dear to our hearts.”
