Divine call: Juhi Parmar makes eco-friendly Ganpati idol

In a bid to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi sustainably, Juhi Parmar, known for her Do It Yourself videos on social media, decided to show the world how to make an eco-friendly Ganpati idol at home. Owing to the current global crisis, this year’s Ganeshotsav celebrations will be a low key affair.

Sharing pictures of her creation on Instagram, Juhi wrote, “This year Ganpati is going to be celebrated very differently as there will be no guests visiting and the celebrations will be within the confines of our homes. And so we decided to make our own Ganpati idol. None of us are experts but the beauty is in love and devotion. There was a magical feeling by the end of it when we saw our Ganpatiji, everything just felt right! Ganpati Bappa Morya!”
