CW network’s Batwoman will have a new lead next season following the exit of actress Ruby Rose from the series. Recently, during a media conversation, showrunner Julie Plec, and Batwoman creator, executive producer Caroline Dries, announced their decision to introduce a new character instead of casting someone else for Rose’s character of Kate Kane. This is a pretty different approach than the regular one where new actors step into ongoing characters all the time!
