Online classes have become a part of the new normal and while institutions have been applauded for adapting, a large section of the society has been unfortunately left behind. Underprivileged children have been unable to jump on to this bandwagon.

NGO Vishwas recently took an initiative to bridge this gap and provided them with a smartphone to utilise for online classes. As many as 40 underprivileged children were identified and provided with a smartphone each. TV actress Hunar Hali, who joined the campaign, says, “I’m extremely happy that I could meet these lovely kids. I would wish them all the best for a bright future.”
