What made you pick acting as a career?

Initially I didn’t want to be an actor, but when I was in 10th class I realised that artistic things attracted me a lot. By and by, I chose acting as my career.

How did you master this craft?

I take acting very seriously. When enacting a role, I forget my real world. That’s how I approach it.

Did you face any struggle or insecurities?

Yes, in the beginning I had to struggle as I wasn’t that stable because of financial issues. But I never ever thought about insecurities in life. I know what I am doing and I am very much confident about it because once you think about insecurities, you will never succeed.

What kept you motivated?

I always try to improve myself and come up with a better version of myself. My passion for acting itself is a motivation to continue pursuing acting as a career.

You were a part of the show Radhe Krishna. How much do you relate to Lord Krishna’s teachings?

I believe in karma. Bhagwad Gita helped me a lot during my initial days of struggle. Lord Krishna’s teachings really helped me become stronger, stay positive and focused.

If not an actor what would you have been and why?

I was very much interested in computers during my high school days. I also have my own website where I write articles about Mumbai lifestyle. Also, I was very much into dance. So if not an actor, I would have done something with computers or else become a dancer.

You represent the youth, as you are just 23. What do you want to say to the aspiring actors?

Patience is the key; it boosts self-confidence. Also, arts can refresh your mind, preserve your mental health and generate positive emotions. Stay focused. Personally, as most of my colleagues are seniors, it helps me to grow and learn from their experiences as well as mistakes.

What are your career goals now?

I want to essay versatile characters. I want to play a vampire on screen! I also want to be a solo actor in films and international documentaries.
