Veteran actor Arvind Trivedi, who was best known for his role of Raavan in the much-loved Ramayan by Ramanand Sagar, passed away. The actor breathed his last on Tuesday after he suffered a heart attack and a multiple organ failure. Sharing the news, Kaustubh Trivedi, Arvind’s nephew, said, “He was not keeping well for quite some time, but today he suffered a heart attack and that led to multi-organ failure.”
Arvind Trivedi was 82. His last rites took place on Wednesday morning in Mumbai. Apart from his role as Raavan, the actor was also known for his role in Vikram Aur Betaal. Also, he acted in many Gujarati films.
Arvind was a Member of Parliament from 1991 to 1996 from the Sabarkatha constituency.
