When you learn to realise that every kind of stress is your own creation, you begin to understand that it is within your own grasp to be happy or not. You need to actually learn to accept that there is a subconscious which is ruling you. It is that very subconscious which can actually relieve you of your stress.
Transitory happiness
You can remember many instances in your life which made you elated. It could have been a matter of getting a first class in high school, a post graduate degree with flying colours, excitement on the day you got married or when you bought your first car. These were all moments of elation in your life but did that happiness continue is the question. It was only transitory, it lasted in moments and then after a little while brought you back to your same old questioning self.
Choose right
You have to learn to make a choice. Life changes every day from moment to moment. You need to decide what you desire. Allow the divine order to flow through you.
Conscious effort
You have to make a conscious and deliberate choice. Taking charge of your life is very important. You need to desire to be happy. Sometimes when people have been depressed, dejected and unhappy for a very long time, they develop a sense of comfort in that feeling. Happiness with no conscious reason makes them uncomfortable. They long to be in their uncomfortable, unhappy state, which has become the measure of their life’s meaning and existence. On a sub-conscious level, they enjoy the discomfort, as that is the only state of comfort their subconscious mind recognises.
Snap out of misery
The attention that some people seek from others only seems to come to them when they are miserable and complaining, so they enjoy their state of misery and start believing that this state of misery is actual happiness.
No negativity
Make certain that you do not indulge in negative attitudes. People try to buy happiness by buying things. They must realise that happiness cannot be bought, it cannot come from things. It is a state from within. It is a level of thought and feeling, a mental and spiritual state.
Unblock your mind
There is nothing blocking your happiness except your own thoughts. You are solely responsible for creating negative mental imagery and in turn start attracting those negatives into your life.
Discard fear
Fear and worry hold you back from achieving your purpose. You need to rise above your fears, into a state of positivity to be able to function in a good way.
Be a magnet
We attract whatever we are sending from within to others.
It is essential to start each day with a mental prayer which will attract the good and positive towards us. Whenever your attention wanders towards negative, you need to make a conscious effort to bring it on to a positive frame again. Tell yourself that you undertake to be happy and you will be. Start your day choosing happiness, beat the blues within. Conquer the shadows and live in the light.
