Salim Diwan and Dharmendra often meet over chai in Lonavala

When a veteran actor is your neighbour you can expect some interesting Bollywood tales. Salim Diwan often sips tea with his favourite actor. The actor is neighbours with Dharmendra in Lonavala and has the opportunity of meeting him quite often.

Says Salim, “We used to meet over chai and discuss cinema and the current situation of our industry. Dharam ji has plenty of stories about his long journey. He has such an amazing personality and I love him from the bottom of my heart.”

He also praised him for his grasp over Urdu language and said, “I love his shayari. Dharam ji is a very grounded and real personality.”

Salim says his favourite Dharmendra movies are Sholay, Loha, Yamla Pagla Deewana and Apne.
