Aditi Govitrikar and John Abraham were the foremost volunteers for PETA India when it was established in January 2000. There has been an impeccable change, many animals have been saved from barbarous experiments in these 20 years and there have been numerous investigations and re-evaluation of the animal rights and policies in the country.

Sharing a major throwback, Aditi posted few pictures from the initial promotional campaign of PETA. In the pictures, we can see Aditi and John posing for the camera, all dressed-up in plants and promoting vegetarianism.

Sharing the pictures, Aditi reminded her followers about the healthy coexistence of other beings and urged them to act against vandalism. The actress wrote, “Peta’s slogan ‘Animals are not ours to eat, wear, experiment on, use for entertainment, or abuse in any other way’ has always resonated so deeply within me for I’ve always believed we have no right to harm any living being because we’ve been privileged for being born humans.”
