Colors’ upcoming show Molkki is the story of 18-year-old Purvi (Priyal Mahajan). As a part of the bride buying custom prevalent in Haryana, without her knowledge, she is married off to Virender ( Amar Upadhyay). Playing a vital role in the show will be Supriya Shukla, who will be seen as Prakashi Devi, Virender’s stepmother. Supriya says, “Prakashi Devi is a character with grey shades. She is not like the typical mother-in-law we see on television.”
