Householder

In this 1964 classic saga, Shashi Kapoor was pitted against the beautiful Leela Naidu. Both formed an attractive pair. As a teacher in Householder, Shashi Kapoor had a plain haircut and looked ravishing on screen. In one intense scene he twitched his right eyebrow and threw a questioning look at Leela Naidu.

Shakespearewala

This 1965 Ivory Merchant production witnessed Shashi Kapoor underplaying at his altruistic best with wife Jeniffer Kapoor. On Shashi Kapoor’s request Satyajit Ray composed a superb background score for Shakespearewala.
