Mini Mathur and Shruti Seth join Covid 911 initiativeHelping the needy

TV host Mini Mathur and actress Shruti Seth recently joined forces with RepIndia to push their Instagram handle, Covid 911, which shares verified and up-to-date information with thousands of followers and their families in need. Talking about the initiative, Shruti Seth says, “Hats off to this group of relentless, selfless volunteers who are helping people find resources in this time of crisis.”

Adds Mini Mathur, who is an active participant in the initiative, “The only thing that really matters right now is how we can be more compassionate and united to alleviate the suffering of our citizens. I am truly touched by the great humanitarian effort that everyone has put into connecting people and their families with life-saving aid.”

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
