NCB arrests Firoz Nadiadwala’s wife, conducts fresh raids at Arjun Rampal’s house

Bollywood producer Firoz Nadiadwala’s wife Shabana Saeed was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Sunday after they found 10 grams of marijuana at their Mumbai residence. Confirming the news, NCB Mumbai zonal director Sameer Wankhede said, “We have arrested Firoz Nadiadwala’s wife under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. Further investigation is on.”

Reports suggested that the contraband seized from Nadiadwala’s house had been purchased from an accused identified as Wahid Abdul Kadir Sheikh alia Sultan, who was arrested earlier. After his wife’s arrest, Firoz Nadiadwala was seen at NCB office on Monday. The agency will now be questioning him.

In another development, Arjun Rampal’s house was searched by NCB, for alleged drug links, on Monday. His girlfriend Gabriella Demetraides’ brother was said to be a part of the drugs case and this was the second time NCB raided Rampal’s house.
