Newwz worthy

Good Newwz is a Hindi comedy film starring Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani. The film is directed by debutant Raj Mehta and produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Hiroo Yash Johar, Shashank Khaitan and Aruna Bhatia under their respective banners, Dharma Productions and Cape of Good Films. Two couples with the same surnames pursue in-vitro fertilisation and wait for their upcoming babies. Trouble ensues when they find that the sperms of each couple have been mixed with each other.

Complete package

It is really good news for this year. A complete package I must say. There is comedy, emotions, masala, romance, all in right amount. It’s a must-watch.

Great news

It’s comedy but not slapstick comedy and that is what makes this movie special. Although IVF is a serious subject but the way it has been presented, it’s commendable. The dialogues are so well-written and the actors have done a really good job. I would give it 5 out of 5.

The year ends with a great movie. Akshay’s best performance of the year. Even Diljit, Kareena and Kiara are wonderful. The first half is all comic and after the interval, it gets a little emotional, but keeps you engaged throughout. I will give 4 out 5 stars.

Diljit all the way

Diljit Dosanj steals the show in Good Newws. It’s he who brings the comic element and he is a surprise package. Of course, all the others are also very good but I loved Diljit’s work. It’s an overall good movie; surely one-time watch.
