Niharika Choksi joins Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai

Niharika Choksi has joined Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH). An excited Niharika says, “I feel grateful to be a part of the show that has received so much love from the audience. Initially, I was a little worried about how everyone would react to the generation leap and change in the entire star cast, but now with all the affection coming our way I know how much the viewers associate themselves with the show. Even when I shared the news that I have been roped in for the serial, I received so much love and support.”

Niharika plays the role of Nishtha, who is a social media star. Talking about it, the actress adds, “She loves to make short videos and watch movies. She is a happy-go-lucky sort of a girl, very chilled out and enjoys every bit of her life. In some ways I am like her in real life. Nishtha is close to her family, especially her brothers, as she is the youngest sibling. I can relate so much to this character. Niharika and Nishtha have so much in common. I feel Nishtha symbolises today’s generation.”
