Ever since Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise, his fans have been demanding a CBI investigation into the matter. In fact, his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty had also requested that in her tweet on Thursday. She had written, “I have complete faith in the government, however, in the interest of justice, I request you with folded hands to initiate a CBI enquiry into this matter.” According to the latest update, Maharashtra’s Home Minister Anil Deshmukh has now stated that there is no need for a CBI investigation in the case.

Anil Deshmukh said, “I have read the tweets, but I don’t think a CBI probe is required. The Mumbai Police is competent enough to handle such cases and they are investigating every aspect, including professional rivalry. As of now, we do not see any foul play. Details of the investigation will be shared once it is completed.”
