Bollywood 2020 is here and we can expect some promising films and performances to look forward to this year. There are some debuts that are in the pipeline and it will be exciting to see who takes the trophy for the best debut actor/actress in 2020. Let’s take a look:

Manushi Chhillar

The lady was crowned Miss Universe in 2017 and since then, people have been speculating about her big Bollywood debut. She is all set to enter films with Akshay Kumar starrer Prithviraj. She will be seen playing the role of princess Sanyogita. The film is based on the life of King Prithviraj Chauhan.

In the lead

Sanjana Sanghi

Sanjana played the role of Nargis’s sister in Rockstar but she will be seen as the leading lady in Dil Bechara with Sushant Singh Rajput. The movie is the Hindi remake of The Fault In our Stars.

Krystle Dsouza

Krystle Dsouza is one of the most popular small screen actresses. Krystle will be making her Bollywood debut with Chehre that features Emraan Hashmi and Amitabh Bachchan.

Mom’s shoes to fill

Alaya Furniturewala

Alaya is the daughter of Pooja Bedi and will be seen sharing the screen space with Saif Ali Khan in Jawaani Jaaneman. The film also stars Tabu as the lead actress. This is a highly anticipated project of 2020.

Isabelle Kaif

Katrina Kaif’s younger sister Isabelle Kaif will be seen in Kwatha– a Hindi movie based on real life story, focused on the relationship between an army officer and a village in Manipur. Isabelle will be seen starring opposite Ayush Sharma.

Tollywood star

Shalini Pandey

Shalini Pandey, who wooed Telugu audience as Arjun Reddy’s leading lady Preeti, is now all set to enter Bollywood. Shalini will soon be seen opposite Ranveer Singh in a film titled Jayeshbhai Jordaar. Ranveer’s first look from the film was released recently.

Blockbuster turn

Ahan Shetty

Suneil Shetty’s son, Ahan Shetty, is gearing up for his debut in 2020. Telugu blockbuster RX100 is being made into Hindi and Ahan will make his debut with the lead role. This movie is being produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and the lead actress is Tara Sutaria.
