Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan-starrer, Coolie No. 1, which was initially gearing up for a theatrical release, will reportedly have a digital release now. According to reports, the rights of the film have been sold to Amazon Prime Video and the makers are planning to release the film on Diwali this year.

While an official announcement will be made soon, a source close to the development said, “There is no clarity on reopening of cinema halls and hence, they took the tough call of opting for a digital release. The team feels that Diwali is the ideal time to get the family audiences glued onto their television and laptop screens to collectively enjoy the comic caper.”

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
