Paintal makes a comeback...

Star Plus is all set to launch a show Kabhi Kabhie Ittefaq Sey, which is a story set in the City of Nawabs – Lucknow. Along with Yesha Rughani (Gungun) and Manan Joshi (Anubhav), who will be seen in the lead roles, the makers have also cast acclaimed actor Kanwarjit Paintal. The veteran actor will be seen essaying a pivotal role in the show.

Having been in the industry for 51 years now, Paintal has been seen alongside the likes of Rajesh Khanna, Amitabh Bachchan, Raaj Kumar, Randhir Kapoor, Shatrughan Sinha, and more.

Paintal says, “The moment I read the script, I knew I wanted to be a part of the show. It brings along this unique calming vibe. It is something that people of all age-groups will enjoy. I play the lead’s tayaji and my character has so much to offer. I am loving the role and can relate to it.”
