He had no godfather, no relatives or friends in Mumbai, the city of dreams! But he had what it takes to succeed—commitment and passion. Today, Sidhartha Dhanda, a simple boy from Ludhiana, is acting in many shows and serials on television. As he says, “Slowly, I am fulfilling my dreams.”

A student from BCM School, Sidhartha says his seven-year-long journey in Mumbai has been tough but quite interesting and fulfilling.

“I am young but I have seen life closely. I have seen my family struggling with financial crises, my father’s sacrifices and suffered the pain of losing my mother. BCM School gave me the perfect platform to showcase my talent. I acted in English plays, went to Bahrain for a youth festival, won many awards in acting, and participated in stage shows,” he says.

Sidhartha started his career in 2013-14 with the serial, Chandergupt Maurya, on NDTV Imagine. Besides, he has also done a show titled Everest, which was directed by Ashutosh Gwarrikar. The characters he played in serials like Love by Chance, Pyar Tune Kya Kiya, Crime Patrol and Gumrah are also unforgettable. “As far as my reel life is concerned, the negative character I played in Tujhse Hai Raabta was highly appreciated,” he says.

Due to the lockdown, Sidhartha is in Ludhiana, but he is waiting for the normalcy to return, as he would love to go back to Mumbai to continue his work.
