While practising basic hygiene is a necessity, it is also important to support your immune system to function properly. Here is a potent salad recipe that you must include in your diet to boost your immune system and protect your body.
Whole wheat salad

Ingredients
- 4 servings
- 1 cup whole wheat
- 1/4 cup frozen sweetcorn
- 1/2 cup peanuts
- 3 cherry tomatoes
- 1/2cup bell pepper cut in cubes
- 1/4 broccoli
For dressing

- 1.5 tablespoon virgin olive oil
- 2 teaspoon lemon juice
- 2 teaspoon red wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 2 pinch salt
- For garnishing
- 1 handful coriander leaves
Method
- Soak the whole wheat with enough water in a deep bowl overnight. Drain well and keep aside.
- Boil the whole wheat till it is completely cooked.
- In the meantime, make the dressing with olive oil, lemon juice, red wine vinegar, paprika and salt.
- Now, combine the cooked wheat, sweet corn, cherry tomatoes and peanuts with the dressing in a deep bowl and mix well.
- Garnish it with coriander leaves and serve immediately.
