Ranveer Singh to star in Mr India 2 ?

Ranveer Singh, who has his hands full with movies like 83, Jayeshbhai Jordaar and Takht, is all set for another big project! The latest buzz suggests that Ranveer will be seen in Mr India 2. The project will be a spin-off of 1987’s Mr India, which featured Anil Kapoor, Sridevi and Amrish Puri in key roles. The film will be helmed by Bharat, Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai director Ali Abbas Zafar and will release in 2020.

A source close to the development shared, “It is Ali’s dream project and he has been silently working on it for a while now. The idea is to give a fresh spin to the already existing concept of Mr. India by giving it a contemporary flavour. The film will be mounted on a never-seen-before scale and will be among the biggest films to come out of Bollywood.”
