Not only will he mesmerise the audience with his melodious songs, but also through his interesting anecdotes. During the shoot, right after Mohammad Irfan’s special act on AR Rahman’s Behene De, which also happened to be Irfan’s first break in Bollywood, the music maestro revealed how he had put the song in Raavan after it was rejected for Ranbir Kapoor’s Rockstar.

Disclosing the little secret, Rahman said, “We recorded Behne De’s scratch version way back, but it was not for Raavan. In fact, Javed (Ali) was the one who recorded the scratch, and it was supposed to be used for the movie Rockstar. But for some reason it didn’t work out. Finally, I got the opportunity to use it in Raavan and Mohammed Irfan sang it along with Karthik.”
