Shanmukhapriya gets crowned by Miss India runner-up Manya Singh

The upcoming episode of Sony Entertainment Television’s Indian Idol will have a lot of surprises for the contestants. While the show will be hosted by real-life couple Bharti and Harsh, it will also have Miss India runner-up Manya Singh.

After a performance by contestant Shanmukha Priya on the song Aye Bachchu and Ishaqzaade, Manya will crown Shanmukha, saying every girl has the right to feel like a princess. Manya says, “I relate with you a lot, as both of us are trying to promote girl power. Like you, I also come from a middle-class family . I feel so proud when girls like you prove to the world that the talent and calibre girls in our country have is excellent. ”
