Siddhi Sharma, who is seen in Pavitraa Bharose Ka Safar, is living a dream

Tell us about your early years and how you became an actor?

My journey started with my mother’s dream. She always wanted to see me on screen and so I worked on it to make it a reality. I started giving auditions. My family kept encouraging me and didn’t allow me to give up. I did theatre, won IPTA and then I got my first break in Santoshi Maa 2.

What made you accept Pavitraa?

I signed this show because I really liked the concept. Pavitraa is a strong woman, very inspiring. And, of course, I love my character Rachana Thakur in this show.

Tell us more about your role.

My character is bold and strong. She loves her brother a lot and supports him. Otherwise, she does not care much about others and chooses to live her life in her own way.

How did you prepare for the show?

To prepare for a character is an exciting process for me. I learnt a lot from my co-stars.

How has been the shooting experience so far?

Shooting in the middle of this pandemic is hectic and worrisome because of the strict rules but to be very honest I am glad that I am back on the sets!

What do you love about acting?

When I saw myself first time on screen, I felt I was living a different character which made a mark on my mind.

Now that lockdown is relaxed, which place would you like to go on for a vacation?

I am a Krishna bhakt and in India every Krishna Dham is my favourite holiday place, and also Kashmir. Canada and Paris are my favourite international destinations.

When not shooting, what do you prefer to do?

I have got many hobbies! I like dancing, fashion designing, and watch movies.
