Singer Jagmeet Bhullar grew up listening to Harbhajan Mann and Gurdas Maan on his uncle’s walkman and was inspired enough to take up music as career. He sang on stage for the first time when he was in the fourth standard. It was the song, Mirza, by Gurdas Maan.

Having music as one of the subjects during graduation, he went on to complete masters in music from Panjabi University, Patiala. His debut song, Newspaper, was with none other than Shehnaaz Gill, which came out in 2017. His latest song, Kanpur Wale, has crossed one million views and was posted a week ago. In the coming months, he will be releasing a duet and a single.

Who would you like to go on a date with?

I don’t know about date, but I have worked with Shehnaaz Gill for my debut song and she is a great company to hang out with.

Pandemic special

One person who you would have chosen to spend your lockdown with?

Playing ludo online with friends sitting miles away in Canada and Australia.
