Tamannaah makes heads turn
Actress Tamannaah Bhatia made heads turn as she walked the ramp for Falguni Shane Peacock at the Lakme Fashion Week 2025. Tamannaah looked gorgeous in a corset-like top that featured golden and silver embellishments. She paired it with a black inner layer. “I actually feel every fashion show is different and every designer has a very different ethos, and sometimes even the collections that they do are based on very different things. I guess the walk is different every time, you know, the expression with which you carry it is different every time. ,” she said.
Kubbra goes for comfort
Actress Kubbra Sait turned showstopper for designer Namrata Joshipura’s athleisure collection. She walked the runway in two outfits—red zig-zag striped ensemble and animal-printed knee-length shorts with open jacket. For Sait, comfort comes first when it comes to athleisure. “The fabric also needs to be breathable, you need to feel like it’s a nice hug. Sometimes your fabric bites into your skin, and you don’t feel very comfortable. It needs to be buttery and this is buttery, it’s fun, I like that.”
Malaika loves athleisure
Model-actress Malaika Arora walked the ramp for designer Namrata Joshipura’s athleisure collection. Arora walked to the beats of rapper Hanumankind’s latest song Run It Up in a blingy black onesie with a jacket. She completed her look with a sleek ponytail and black pencil heels. “Athleisure is a huge business. I’m somebody who truly stands for athleisure. I propagate it, I wear it, I’m all for it... Athleisure is here to stay,” Arora said. Athleisure is casual, comfortable clothing designed to be suitable both for exercise and everyday wear.
Bhumi rocks in casuals
Actress Bhumi Pednekar was the show stopper for fashion designer Amit Aggarwal’s collection, which focused on easy dressing and comfort. The actress wore a white shirt paired with black pants, a pink metallic corset and a tie. In her confident ramp walk at the fashion gala, the actress exuded oomph and style. “Fashion for me is a form of self-expression. It’s a very integral part of who I am because I thoroughly enjoy it. I really love experimenting with my fashion choices, like I do with my films. I think my fashion choices are rather unconventional, and it’s been this journey of self-discovery,” Bhumi said.
Karan dazzles in black
Filmmaker Karan Johar stole the show in his black outfit as he turned showstopper for Falguni Shane Peacock. Karan’s outfit depicted bold, intricate designs and the black colour just perfectly embodied power and dominance. The collection, a blend of couture craftsmanship and modern design, was a visual masterpiece.
