After achieving critical and box office success with Article15, Anubhav Sinha is back with another social drama Thappad starring Taapsee Pannu, Ratna Pathak Shah, Manav Kaul, Dia Mirza and Ram Kapoor. Taapsee Pannu and Anubhav Sinha last collaborated in courtroom drama Mulk which was critically acclaimed.

Pavail Gulati, who is best known for his work in web series such as Made in Heaven, Ghost Stories and TV show Yudh, makes his Bollywood debut and plays Taapsee Pannu’s husband in this film. Taapsee as Amrita will be seen playing the role of a middle class girl. The film is about a relationship between the couple and the social dynamics around them.

Doordarshan

We are not talking about TV channel Doordarshan but a slice of life comedy drama of a North Indian family which is stuck between two eras 90s and the present time. The movie features Manu Rishi Chadha, Mahie Gill, Dolly Ahluwalia, Mehak Manwani and Shardul Rana. We hear, Doordarshan will take you back to the 90s once again. The story of the film revolves around Dolly Ahluwalia playing the role of grandmother.

The Invisible Man

The Invisible Man marks the first in producer Jason Blum’s attempt to reboot the Universal Studios Monster Universe. The other stars in the film are Storm Reid, Aldis Hodge, Harriet Dyer and Oliver Jackson- Cohen. The film promises to be one successful sci-fi horror of 2020.

Sonic the Hedgehog

Sonic the Hedgehog, directed by Jeff Fowler, is a live-action 100 minute adventure comedy based on the global blockbuster video game franchise from Sega that centres on the infamously brash bright blue hedgehog. It stars Ben Schwartz, as the voice of Sonic the Hedgehog and Jim Carrey as Doctor Robotnik. In the film, Sonic teams up with local town sheriff Tom Wachowski to find and reclaim his lost rings and escape Doctor Robotnik. Sonic tries to navigate the complexities of life on earth with his new found best friend – a human Tom Wachowski. Both join forces to try and stop the villainous Doctor Robotnik from capturing Sonic and using his immense powers to dominate the world.
