Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol-starrer Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (DDLJ), completes 25 years today. On this occasion, a bronze statue of SRK and Kajol will be unveiled in London. The statue will be displayed at Leicester Square as a part of Scenes in the Square movie trail.
Directed by Aditya Chopra, DDLJ shattered all box office records and is one of the biggest blockbusters in the history of Hindi cinema. It also went on to become the longest-running Hindi film as it has played in theatres for 25 long years. Shah Rukh says, “What worked for Raj and Simran on screen was basically the pure friendship that Kajol and I shared off-screen. It was all so organic. We didn’t really plan scenes.”
