This year Mother’s Day is different for me as I won’t be celebrating it as a daughter but as a mother for the first time. So, I’m going to make the most of it with the resources we have. I will probably cut a cake with my mom and babies. I’m also planning to distribute food around the area and end the day by praying.

For her sweet tooth, Aneri Vajani

My mom is my biggest support system. She is always there for me, even before I need her. She gets up extremely early for me when I am shooting and packs fresh meals. I can’t be thankful enough. This Mother’s Day, my brother and I will bake a lovely chocolate cake for her since she has a sweet tooth.

Sweet memories, Jasmin Bhasin

The greatest learning that I have got from my mother is to face my fears and challenges and not hide away from them. My fondest childhood memory is when my mom used to bake a cake for me every time I scored good marks in my school tests. They used to taste divine and no cake in the world can beat it.

To make her proud, Mrunal Jain

My mother is everything to me. I still sometimes eat from her hands. She cooks excellent Jain food for me and I am proud of my mom and want her to feel proud of me one day. I am spending a lot of time with her right now, something which I never get to do.

Water babies, Rishina Kandhari

Never stop learning is what my mother has taught me. There are many fond childhood memories of mom and me.My mom used to take me for swimming and I remember I used to hang on to her back while she used to swim. I’ve inherited her strength, her style and her sensibilities.
