Vijay Ratnakar Gutte, who made his directorial debut with ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’, last year, has started work on his next project amidst Covid-19 pandemic. After the political biopic, Vijay now wants to explore thriller and suspense genre. He said, “After the release of my first film, I have been constantly working with my team and researching on shortlisted scripts. I don’t believe in half-baked research. I have taken time in selecting my next because I wanted to come up with a new concept, which would be commercial and entertaining at the same time. I will soon share more details with you all.”

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
