South Indian superstar Vijay Sethupathi, who was recently seen in Kamal Haasan’s Vikram, will next be seen opposite Katrina Kaif in Merry Christmas.

And now we hear that Vijay Sethupathi has been roped in to essay a menacing villain in Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Jawan.

Directed by Atlee, Jawan has been mounted on a grand scale and the makers were keen to rope in Rana Daggubati as the antagonist. However, Rana reportedly had a busy diary and the makers approached Vijay Sethupathi to play the villain. Vijay is set to join the sets of the film in Mumbai soon.
