How do you manage to stay in shape despite your busy schedule?

Fitness has always been a priority for me, no matter how hectic life gets. I believe it’s about discipline and taking out time for what truly matters. I mix yoga, which keeps me flexible, and gym workouts for strength and endurance. Whether it’s early mornings or late evenings, I make sure to squeeze in a session—it’s my ‘me time’ that refreshes both body and mind.

Being an actor, there’s often pressure to look fit. What’s your take on that?

Yes, there’s certainly a spotlight on physical appearance in this industry, but I feel fitness should be about overall well-being rather than just looks. Staying fit helps me perform better, handle demanding schedules, and feel more confident. Yoga is not just about the body but also leads to mental clarity, and the gym adds the strength I need for physically challenging roles.

Do you follow a strict diet to maintain your fitness?

I wouldn’t call it strict, but I definitely try to eat clean and balanced. My meals focus on lean proteins, whole grains, healthy fats, and plenty of vegetables. I also drink a lot of water and include super-foods like nuts, seeds and fresh fruits in my diet. Of course, I indulge occasionally, but moderation is the key. Plus, regular workouts and proper hydration reflect positively on my skin, giving it that healthy glow.

How does your fitness regimen impact your energy levels and overall well-being?

It makes a huge difference. A good workout—whether it’s a calming yoga session or an intense gym routine—recharges me and helps me stay focused throughout the day. It boosts my energy levels, improves my mood and reduces stress. Honestly, fitness isn’t just physical for me; it’s mental and emotional too.

What keeps you motivated to stay fit?

I think of fitness as a lifestyle rather than a chore. Even on days when I’m tired or travelling, I remind myself of how great I feel after a workout. Sometimes, just 20 minutes of yoga or a quick stretch can work wonders. The idea that my body and mind are stronger because of this effort keeps me going.

Can you share two fitness tips for staying healthy?

1. Stay consistent: Even if it’s just a short workout or yoga, consistency is what brings results over time.

2. Listen to your body: Push yourself, but also know when to rest or switch things up—balance is the key to long-term fitness.
