17-year-old boy arrested for killing Bihar man

Ludhiana, August 26

A 17-year-old boy, a resident of Arya Mohalla near Shitla Mata Temple, Jalandhar, was arrested by the police on the charge of killing Sandeep, a native of Bihar, near the overbridge adjoining the bus stand on Sunday.

According to the police, a sharp-edged weapon, which was used in the crime, was also seized by the police. Investigation in the case is on. The reason behind the murder is not ascertained so far. The police claimed to have arrested the juvenile within 12 hours of the murder.
