2 youths tied to pole, thrashed, video goes viral

A video in which residents could be seen tying two youths to a pole and thrashing them in public in Dugri went viral today. The incident took place near the traffic light point in Dugri area.

According to available information, four youths on two bikes came to a person named Vijay and asked with whose permission he had put his kiosk near the road. They told Vijay that they were employees of municipal corporation and asked him to pay Rs 300 for setting up the vend near the road.

Vijay reportedly denied paying them and told the youths that he would go to the MC office and get the slip from there, following which the youth placed a sharp-edged weapon on his neck.

Vijay’s father, who was there, raised an alarm and people gathered on the spot. The youths sitting on the bike fled from the scene, while the other two were nabbed by the people, who tied them to a pole and thrashed them. A PCR police reached the spot and took them away.
