22 injured as PRTC bus collides with truck on Ludhiana-Delhi highway

At least 22 passengers, including 6 women, were injured when a PRTC bus collided with a truck coming from the opposite side at Khanna on the Ludhiana-Delhi national highway on Tuesday morning.

The bus was heading to Patiala from Ludhiana when a trailer truck driving on the wrong side collided with it head-on, severely damaging the bus.

DSP Vinod Kumar said a rescue operation was started immediately after the cops received information about the accident.

All those injured were shifted to hospitals and the police initiated a probe into the incident, he said.
