23 teams take part in quiz at medical college

The event, held at the college, saw 23 teams of three students each from various medical colleges and institutions across the state vying in an intellectually stimulating competition.
Dr William Bhatti, Dr Jeyaraj Pandian and Dr Abhilasha Williams were the guiding force behind the academic event.
Senior forensic experts from state medical colleges shared their vision and support to the college and have shown interest in collaborating for such future academic events as well.
The winners of the quiz were GMCH, Sector 32, Chandigarh (first), GMC, Patiala, (second) and CMC Ludhiana, GMC Patiala and AIIMS, Bathinda, winning the third prize.
The quiz was designed to test participants’ knowledge in forensic medicine, medical jurisprudence and related medicolegal topics, providing a platform for medical students and professionals to showcase their expertise in this specialised field. The event is significant for the forensic medicine department of the CMCH as such a large-scale quiz has never been held before and it will be officially called as ‘Vox Cadaveris’, which will be an annual event for the CMC.
