3-day inter-polytechnic youth festival begins at Satguru Ram Singh College

The three-day Inter-Polytechnic Youth festival, organised by Satguru Ram Singh Government Polytechnic College, Ludhiana, under the auspices of Punjab Technical Institutions Sports (PTIS), commenced with great enthusiasm at Guru Nanak Bhavan, Ludhiana. Students from polytechnic colleges across Punjab participated in various competitions, including Shabad singing, sculpture painting, and Rangoli, showcasing their artistic talents.

The Youth Festival was inaugurated by Monish Kumar, IAS, Director of Technical Education, who was present as a special guest. In the second session, Kultar Singh Sandhwan, the Speaker of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha, graced the event as the chief guest. He urged the students to contribute to realising the Punjab Government’s vision of “Rangla Punjab.”

He also announced prize money for the 2024 Youth Festival’s essay-writing competition on Minimum Support Price (MSP) amid the farmers’ struggle, with awards of Rs 50,000, Rs 30,000 and Rs 20,000 for the top three winning students.
