3 spas raided, managers nabbed

The Ludhiana police conducted separate raids last night and arrested managers of three spa centres.

The raids were conducted after the police got complaints that the centres were not following instructions issued by the Police Commissionerate regarding managing their affairs.

As per information, raids were conducted at Red Coler Spa, Quality Spa Centre and Medanta Spa Centre, located in Sector 32 of the Chandigarh road. Their managers Gopal, Ravi Kumar and Manoj Kumar were arrested by the police.

Police officials said the spa centres forced boys and girls into illegal trade, which was against the law. The police would continue to keep a tab over the centres to ensure that no illegal activity should take place.

The city has many spa centres where allegedly flesh trade was also being run and youths in large numbers have been visiting such places.
