Four workers were injured, one seriously, when a brick wall collapsed at a kiln on Raikot Road in Jagraon today. The incident occurred around 1 pm. when the workers were loading bricks on a trailer. The kiln was reportedly owned by a former councillor, which was further given on contract to someone.
The wall that fell was a temporary structure used to hold brick sawdust. Reports indicate a worker slipped while climbing on the wall, causing it to collapse.
