Ludhiana: 575 take part in CISCE regional athletics meet

The two-day Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) Regional Athletics Meet for Boys and Girls (U-14, 17 and 19), organised by Guru Nanak Public School, Model Town Extension, concluded at Guru Nanak Stadium, here today.

As many as 575 students from CISCE affiliated schools in Punjab, Delhi, Chandigarh and Himachal Pradesh vied for the top honours in various track and field events during this meet.

Sharwan Sehgal, director, GS Foundation of Law, was the chief guest at the closing function. Principal of the host school, Mona, congratulated the winners and thanked the staff and participants on the successful completion of the meet.
