As the hectic campaigning came to an end, it was comparatively a lighter day for AAP candidate Sanjeev Arora, who spent the morning with members of his team, who had put-in hard efforts during campaigning in the past two months.
Ahead of polling day, Arora and his team chose to unwind in a natural setting, marking the end of a spirited and positive campaign with quiet reflection.
Looking relaxed, Arora was seen engaged in light-hearted conversations with his team, family members, friends and other supporters, who had played an active role throughout his campaign. The mood of majority of those around Arora was relaxed and optimistic, as the intense campaigning for over past 100 days, came to an end.
At the same time during noon, the friends and well-wishers of Arora had held a lunch, where everyone gathered to make phone calls to voters. “As you can see, they have all gathered on Wednesday to extend me support for which I am thankful to them. Last-minute calls are being made by family members and well-wishers to their acquaintances to extend support in tomorrow’s elections. The way the family and friends are pouring in love for me, I express my gratitude. Now, it will be my duty to return to them by taking care of the constituency, if I comes to power,” said Arora.
Around 100 persons were seen making phone calls to acquaintances and other voters in the constituency.
