Dachalwal had held the position of ADC of the Ludhiana civic body last year.

It will be a tough road ahead of Dachalwal as the industrial city has been facing many issues such as garbage disposal and broken roads.

Since Dachalwal has been the Additional Commissioner, MC, in the past, he must be well versed with the issues of the city.
