Ludhiana, August 1
The Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) Kisan Club hosted its monthly training camp for its members today.
Organised by Dr TS Riar, Additional Director of Communication, and Dr Kuldeep Singh, Head of the Department of Extension Education, the event featured a series of informative lectures and interactive sessions.
A lecture on seed production of cereal crops was delivered by Dr TP Singh of the Department of Director Seed. Dr Madhu Shally from Animal Science, DEE, discussed the formulation of cattle feed, while Dr Shivani Sharma from the Department of Microbiology gave a slide presentation on the production of medicinal mushrooms.
Dr Navjot Singh Brar from the Vegetable Research Farm, Hoshiarpur, shared insights on the cultivation of potatoes, and Dr Gulzar Singh Sanghera, Director of RRS Kapurthala, spoke on sugarcane cultivation.
