Ahmedgarh to get two Aam Aadmi Clinics soon

The Health Department is poised to establish two Aam Aadmi Clinics with intent to strengthen primary healthcare for the general populace here.

While one of the clinics is coming up at premises of Janta College located in the heart of town, the other is being established at old premises of Suvidha Kendra near Bajrang Akhara.

Once ready, the healthcare centers will be provide OPD facilities and arrangements for required diagnostic tests besides organising special clinics for expectant mothers.

Though the clinics are being established for the convenience of residents of localities falling under the municipal council, authorities expect that patients from nearby villages, labour colonies and industrial units will also be benefited from the development.

Municipal Council President Vikas Krishan Sharma said that Amargarh MLA Jaswant Singh Gajjanmajra had persuaded the management committee of the Ahmedgarh Vidya Pracharak Sabha, to allow the administration to establish an Aam Aadmi Clinic at the vacant Janta College as it was easily accessible to residents of all localities of the town and surrounding areas.

SMO Ahmedgarh Community Health Centre Dr Jyoti Kapoor Hind acknowledged that civil construction work for establishment of Aam Aadmi Clinics was in progress at Janta College and old Suvidha Kendra buildings and both the clinics would start functioning soon.

The SMO said that diagnostic facilities and treatment would be provided free of cost and even ultrasonography facilities would be available at empanelled diagnostic centres.
