Akali Dal protests poor procurement of paddy

A team of Akali Jatha Urban (Ludhiana) with senior leadership of Akali Dal held a massive protest at Kachhari Chowk against the poor procurement of paddy and supply of DAP. During the protest, a large number of leaders held demonstrations and protested against the bad policies of the government.

Maheshinder Singh Grewal said all the claims of the AAP government led by Bhagwant Singh Maan, which makes big claims, have fallen flat. He said big days like Dasehra, Diwali and Gurpurb where everyone wants to celebrate with their homes and their families, the government has kept the farmers harassed in the markets till now.

During this protest and demonstration Akali Dal also handed over a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner.
